Brainard Cheney

The Correspondence of Flannery O'Connor and the Brainard Cheneys, Edited by C. Ralph Stephens, University Press of Mississippi, Jackson, 1986 [en Google Books en parte]

It is much too early to attempt any ultimate assessment of Flannery O'Connor's work. There is as yet but limited understanding of this original, powerful, and prophetic writer. But the prophet is not expected to wait on the fulfilment of his prophecy. In her own words, "The creative action of the Christian's life is to prepare his death in Christ." And this, I feel sure, she did (214).

I would leave out that stuff about the rosary beads. Catholic writers must always avoid plugs for the Church (Letter 94). Citado en la Introducción, página XX.
Tendría que leer algo de FOC. ¿Por dónde empiezo?
